The Aedifica team once again took part in the Warmest Week, which this year supports people in poverty. The colleagues raised over €1,500 for charity with a bake sale, which was matched to €3,000 by Aedifica.
Aedifica bears the Warmest Week close to its heart. In 2019, the team already organised a waffle bake that raised over €1,100. That amount was then matched by Aedifica to €2,200. With this year’s edition of the Warmest Week taking up the fight against poverty, a new initiative by the team was inevitable.
On Monday 12 December, the Aedifica team therefore organised another bake sale. This time no more waffles, but homemade Christmas cookies! Together, the colleagues baked more than 1,200 cookies. The initiative – literally – went down a treat: the bake sale was a success and, thanks to the team’s enthusiasm, over €1,500 was raised for charity.
We are proud that our team wanted to do its bit for people who live in poverty and took the initiative to organise a Warmest Week fundraiser. It is heart-warming that their action became such a success. Aedifica is therefore happy to match the amount that was raised, allowing us to donate a total of €3,000 to the Warmest Week.

The Warmest Week is an annual Belgian event that raises money for charities. This edition focuses on tackling poverty in various areas of life (education, employment, housing, income, etc.). The funds raised are distributed in full to more than 270 concrete projects through the King Baudouin Foundation.
Tackling poverty of opportunity is also one of the themes on which Aedifica is focusing its support to charities in 2022. Find out which other projects dealing with poverty Aedifica supported this year here.
