In 2021, Aedifica improved all of its sustainability scores: the GRESB score, the Green Star Rating and the MSCI rating all increased significantly, while the Sustainalytics Risk Rating continued to decrease and the Group’s Sustainability Report was awarded an EPRA sBPR Gold Award for the second year in a row. These solid results are a great reward for the sustainability efforts made by the team over the past year.
Sustainable entrepreneurship is deeply embedded in Aedifica’s DNA. Based on its ambitious action plan, Aedifica took targeted action to achieve its ESG objectives in 2021. These actions not only contributed to a stronger and more responsible organisation in general, but also to better sustainability scores.
Aedifica’s ambitious sustainability strategy is paying off, as evidenced by the scores of different ESG assessments. Aedifica achieved 66/100 in the GRESB for the reference year 2020. This is a significant improvement of 9 points compared to the reference year 2019 and has increased our Green Star rating from one to two stars. The MSCI rating, which measures the resilience of companies to long-term ESG risks, improved from BB to BBB. In addition, Aedifica’s ‘LOW’ Sustainalytics Risk Rating further decreased from 17.8% to 11.9%, reflecting the Group’s efforts in managing its ESG risks.
Thanks to our ambitious ESG action plan, we will continue to make progress on corporate social responsibility in the coming years. Through this continuous effort, we will also further improve our sustainability scores.
