Aedifica cycles for charity

10 Aedifica colleagues are joining forces for charity. To donate a duo bike to a care home, they will cycle together from Brasschaat to Rotterdam.

Aedifica’s ambition is to bring positive, sustainable change to society. Therefore, the Group regularly supports charitable initiatives by its employees. When a team event was announced in Rotterdam (Netherlands), 10 Aedifica colleagues decided to cycle together from Belgium to the Netherlands and couple an action for charity with it.

Together, we will cycle over 1,000 kilometres from Brasschaat to Rotterdam.

To reward this cycling achievement, Aedifica will donate a duo-bike to the De Witte Bergen care home in Lichtaart (BE). Such a duo bike is specifically designed for people who have difficulty cycling independently. It allows a caregiver or family member to ride alongside the resident and provides a safe and pleasant outdoor experience. Thanks to the bicycle, residents will be able to experience precious moments and have extra motivation to stay active.
