Aedifica is making strong progress across its Irish development pipeline, with major milestones achieved in its healthcare projects throughout 2026. From completed projects to developments nearing key construction stages, these investments reflect our long-term commitment to supporting local healthcare infrastructure and communities across the country.
Aedifica is currently investing over €100 million in the development of four innovative healthcare infrastructure projects across Ireland. In addition to the project that was completed earlier this year, another building is due to be completed by the end of this year, with the remaining two projects due for completion in early 2028.

Perhaps the most remarkable project is the Limerick Cancer Centre, as it highlights Aedifica’s first investment in a new healthcare real estate sub segment. Started in the second half of 2025, the building has entered its final construction phase. Developed in collaboration with Whitebox, DFL and tenant CROAL (a joint venture between UPMC and Bon Secours Health System), the project recently welcomed stakeholders for its first on-site ceremony to acknowledge all the planning and strategy efforts that went into getting the property to where it is now, ahead of practical completion later this year.

Earlier this year, Aedifica already completed the Ursuline Convent Nursing Home in Sligo Finisklin Road (105 residents), adding a high-quality nursing home to the local healthcare landscape.
Furthermore, progress is continuing at Aedifica’s care home developments in Kilcoole (109 residents) and Crumlin (151 residents). Construction of both sites began earlier this year and is progressing as scheduled, with groundworks completed and superstructure works ongoing. The projects remain on track for their planned completion dates around the start of 2028, with topping-out ceremonies expected before the end of this year.
These projects demonstrate Aedifica’s continued commitment to delivering futureproof healthcare infrastructure that brings innovative care to the local communities in Ireland.
